Mega Roof Crete

MEGA ROOOF- CRETE is an elastic two component , product consists of acrylic resin in a liquid form and cement base, factory made, dry mix mortar designed for sealing surface against pressing water, weathering attack, hard atmospheric conditions with good elastic properties which helps in covering all surfaces cracks . Applied at an appropriate film thickness (2.5 mm minimum) and complies with DIN 4030.Fields of ApplicationUnder ground and elevated water tanks.Dams and bridges.Tunnels, shafts.Basement, retaining walls.Swimming pools.Water and sewage units.Under ground car parks.Exterior and interior surfaces.CHARACTERISTICSMEGA ROOF - CRETE has a high sealing and waterproofing power even at a low film thickness which makes this product very cost effective.Has an excellent adhesive properties on all surface, smooth concrete, rough surfaces, dames, roofs, etc..Is used in combination with acrylic resin for more flexibility that produces (after drying) a tough elastic coatWhich ensures over bridging properties on cracks.In its cured state MEGA ROOF - CRETE is absolutely safe in physiological and ecological terms . SURFACE PREPARATIONThe surface must be clean, free from dust, oils, etc...Close all joints in walls. Fill all voids defective, spots and cracks with MEGA BOND SBR mortar.Mortise all spacer, spreaders and wires down to 2 cm and trowel with MEGA BOND SBR mortar.Remove all loose plaster and paint coating. The pores of concrete surface must be open and free from forming oil and cement residue. SURFACE CURINGSurfaces subject to direct sun rays must be cured with water to prevent rapid drying which causes hair cracks(do not use curing component that contain any solvent ) . MEGA ROOF–CRETE SLURRYFor best results apply two perpendicular coats at a minimum thickness of 2.5 mm.The maximum coat thickness depends on the stresses caused by pressing water to be expected MIXING INSTRUCTION AND METHODS OF APPLICATIONEmpty the contents of the sack together with liquid into a clean container and mix thoroughly until you reach a homogeneously mixture, preferably using an electric mixer.Apply the first adhesion promoting coat of MEGA ROOF – CRETE in slurry like consistency, the waiting time between first coat and the following coat is 6 hours at least.Apply the slurry by means of a wide paint brush or trowel. y pressing water to be expected.
